These guys are doing a roaring business rolling Cinema film to 35mm cartridges and producing developing chems for colour and B&W film. I'd been on their website plenty in the last couple of years and I'll likely order from them frequently once I'm set up out here. Nice little retail shop too, though I didn't go in. They specialize in film cameras and associated lenses.

Changing out the old for the new. A bit early as there's still plenty left on the old tire but not enough for the next leg of the trip. it's going to be a lot more work getting and changing the tire on the road so I'm sacrificing a bit of the old one for overall convenience.

Now I'm southwest of Longview and it's great to be riding the mountain gravel

the lake beside the rest stop. It's part of a migratory route for baby toads - they have a bunch of infrastructure built here to help them safely get from the lake, under the highway and up into the woods.

I saw loads of these burly overlander truck/trailer rigs... parked at campgrounds, only saw two at any of the off-grid places I stayed at.

it's 34 degrees so sticking my feet in this icy mountain stream was a way to cool part of me off.
