10:30 A.M. and finally ready to leave. Things were a bit of a scramble at the last minute but now it's time to hit the road!
It was forecast to be mostly clear but cold and very windy for at least the NB leg.
I got to the US border at Calais at 12"00PM local time and along with my usual Holts package I had ordered something from Revzilla - new Klim Carlsbad pants.
Now to fit all this additional stuff into my load.

temps were "cooler than normal" here, down to zero at night, some rain, a lot of wind one night.
I made the trip over to the Tail of the Dragon, 318 curves in 11 miles.
